The Iron Chefs Go Head-To-Head In A Culinary Tournament The Food Network Brings The First-Ever "King of Iron Chefs Tournament" To The Table. You may or may not have heard about or seen a cable television show called" Iron Chefs". It could be described as a cross between World Wrestling and Cooking with Julia Childs. The show is produced in Japan and brings "Iron Chefs", who are master chefs in various culinary styles, and challenging chefs together. They compete in a "kitchen stadium" in front of a live audience. Throughout the show these challengers compete with the Iron Chefs in a race to create and cook the best meal of the evening with the "surprise special ingredient of the night".
